What do Peoria homes usually need?
Peoria covers a lot of ground, and the work changes with it. Closer to Glendale, homes tend to be older, with walls that may need repair or a few more courses. Farther north, in big master-planned areas like Vistancia, lots are newer, HOAs are active and many back yards face washes, hills or open desert.
- View fencing on lots that look out over desert or hills.
- Wall extensions on older, shorter walls.
- Pool barriers for new pools.
- RV gates for boats headed to Lake Pleasant.
Are hillside lots harder?
They can be. On a sloped lot, a wall may have to step down in sections, and if it holds back soil it may be treated as a retaining wall. Rocky ground also takes longer to dig. We look at grade and soil on the first visit so there are no surprises.
Does Peoria follow Glendale's rules?
No. Peoria is its own city with its own zoning and building codes, so heights, permits and pool barrier details may differ from what applies a few blocks away in Glendale. We confirm the City of Peoria's current rules for your address before we finalize a design.
What does a fence cost in Peoria?
It depends on material, length and gates. Angi's Phoenix-area figures, as of October 2026, put an average fence job around $2,000. See our cost guide, or ask for a written quote.
